Tier Configuration

Map your Twitch Bit milestones to Discord Roles to automate your community's growth.

How Tiers Work

BitCord OS uses a "Highest Milestone Reached" logic. When a user runs !checkbits, the bot fetches their all-time bits from Twitch and compares them against your defined tiers. It will then assign the role associated with the highest threshold they have surpassed.

Obtaining Role IDs

To link a tier, the bot needs the unique Snowflake ID for your Discord roles.

1.

Enable Developer Mode in Discord (User Settings > Advanced).

2.

Go to your Server Settings > Roles.

3.

Right-click a role and select "Copy Role ID".

Entering Data in the Dashboard

In your Broadcaster Dashboard, you will find the Tier Management section. Fill in the following fields for each rank:

Field Description
Tier Name The display name of the rank (e.g., Gold, Diamond).
Bit Requirement The minimum bits required to achieve this rank.
Role ID The Discord Role Snowflake ID you copied earlier.

Hierarchy Matters!

Ensure the BitCord OS Bot Role is positioned above the roles it needs to assign in your Discord Role settings, otherwise the bot will receive an "Access Denied" error.
